English Information

Dear colleagues and friends who don’t speak German, please find here some information on the recent happenings in my work life:

Borschemich (neu)
I shot a short children’s documentary about a twelve year old boy who has to leave his home because his village will soon be destroyed by caterpillars. Under the village, there’s a big subterranean field of brown coal, and that’s why they tear the houses down. The worst thing for the boy Niklas is that he won’t be able to help his grandfather on the farm any more. The film accompanies the boy during the process of moving and saying goodbye.
Borschemich (neu) will be screened in the competition of a well known German children’s media festival and also in the competition of the International Short Film Awards in Oberhausen / Germany.
If you’re interested in the movie – please contact me. A movie trailer will be online soon.

Schiffe Versenken
That’s a short feature film which was finalized last year. It’s about Doro who falls in love with her best friend’s husband to be just before the wedding.

The film is currently nominated for the camera price at the local woman film fest.
